Every client is special and every circumstance is exceptional to us. Being born with special needs has its unique set of difficulties. Similarly, acquiring a special need as a result of an accident or illness can have heavy physical, emotional, social and financial strains for all concern.
Family members and caregivers who love and support those with special needs take on great responsibilities. Osanis is mindful that those caring helpers are often very busy people who likely must balance multiple competing priorities. We understand that those responsibilities can be overwhelming at times.

Osanis rehabilitation support services are focused on helping children six years and older, youth and adults who struggle with acquired physical and/or brain injury related disabilities to improve their quality of life.
The qualifications and designations that our team and associates posses include community support worker, job coach, job developer, behaviour interventionist, occupational therapist, registered social worker, registered clinical counsellor, board certified behaviour analyst and registered psychologist.
We offer services in Victoria, Sooke, Port Renfrew, Duncan, Nanaimo, Parksville, Courtenay, Comox, Campbell River, Sayward, Port McNeil, Port Hardy, Gold River, Port Alberni, Ucluelet, and Tofino. We have offices in Victoria and Campbell River.

We utilize standardized tests. We utilize the Independent Living Scales and Adaptive Behavior Assessment System II to focus exclusively on independence. We utilize various tests to produce a neuro-psychological evaluation. This comprehensive evaluation is utilized to provide evidence-based information about the individual’s cognitive, emotional and behavioural functioning.

Feedback is a pivotal component of our Rehabilitation Support Plans. We request and welcome continual input from the individual, families, caregivers, support staff and associated professionals in terms of progress of the individual and the effectiveness of our services.
Community Support Workers
We provide one-to-one hourly support. The context of this support is defined by the Rehabilitation Support Plan. The types of activities that could be involved in this service include daily living support, housekeeping, community access, companionship, advocacy and recreational activities.

Family Support Services
We provide one-to-one support to family members and caregivers in the areas of self-care, family development and advocacy.

Integrated Case Management
By increasing delivery efficiencies of supports and services to the individual, Integrated Case Management Support is a joint process that encourages dialogue and harmonization with all support people. The goal of this service is to coordinate in the most efficient manner the roles, expectations and recommendations of all relevant service providers who are involved in the individual’s life.
Administrative Support Services
Navigating through the social services field and cross government disabilities programs looking for the right service that addresses your issue of concern, and utilizing properly all the required forms, can be daunting experiences. The goals of these services are to assist the individual and their support network to find the most appropriate services and complete all the required forms in the most efficient, stress-free and prompt manner.
We offer an initial one-hour free consultation session for the purpose of discussing your issues of concern and/or goals. This time provides you an opportunity to confirm that we are the right service for you.
Our Rehabilitation Support Services access a variety of professionals with various fee schedules. Fees vary according to the nature and length of service. Please contact us for further information.
People paying for their own service are expected to follow the agreed payment schedule.
Payments are accepted in the form of cash, cheque, automatic deposits or Interac e-Transfers.
