Welcome to Osanis
Whether you are searching for specific services or just exploring what is available, we welcome you to Osanis.
Osanis Counselling and Consulting Inc. was born in February 2012 as a natural evolution and expansion of Oscar’s several years of private practice. Oscar’s main goal was to help as many people as possible and in the most caring, efficient and suitable manner.
Oscar’s passion, commitment and dedication to serve children, youth and adults with special needs and their families have allowed his original private practice to gradually expand into an incorporated organization that provides private-for-fee, third party funded and government funded services. Osanis is a Community Living British Columbia (CLBC) and Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) approved service provider. Osanis is an approved service provider with First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) and Crime Victim Assistance Program. Osanis is an approved service provider with several Employment Assistant Programs.
Osanis’ growing team of dedicated and professional individuals is enabling Osanis to continue diversifying our services and serve our clients in more areas of daily living.
The qualifications and designations that our team and associates posses include community support worker, job coach, job developer, behaviour interventionist, occupational therapist, registered social worker, registered clinical counsellor, board certified behaviour analyst and registered psychologist.
Osanis’ growing team continues to be appreciative and humble of the ongoing new opportunities that individuals, families and communities across beautiful Vancouver Island are giving the team to be part of their lives.
Osanis’ growing team is continuously expanding their geographical areas of support to offer more availability of services for communities in Victoria, Sooke, Port Renfrew, Duncan, Nanaimo, Parksville, Courtenay, Comox, Campbell River, Sayward, Port McNeil, Port Hardy, Gold River, Port Alberni, Ucluelet, and Tofino. As a growing organization committed to provide services that represent best evidence-based practices, Oscar, in his role as practice leader, personally oversees the effective and professional delivery of services that adhere to practices supported by relevant theoretical frameworks and research. Complementary to this ongoing effort, Osanis’ team has begun with great excitement and professionalism the accreditation process. Osanis’ team anticipates to complete the accreditation process with CARF by the middle to end of 2017.
